Committees
CTAA, in its ongoing effort to maintain Cass Tech's impeccable reputation of being an institution of learning that is second to none, needs more of its alumni to get involved. Below you will find a brief description of the committees that you can be a part of or even lead. Pancake Breakfast
This committee will serve to plan and put on this event which is held each year in February in Cass Tech's cafeteria. The event consists of a breakfast and an opportunity for all of Cass Tech's alumni to mix and mingle while getting a brief update of the school and listening to music.

Golf-Outing
Since 1996, Cass Tech Alumni and guests have gathered at a local golf course on the first Saturday of August to play in the Annual CTAA Golf Outing. Participants compete for prizes and bragging rights. Alumni are encouraged to put together four-member teams that will have fun as well as opportunities for winning prizes. This committee will work to ensure that a golf-course is secured as well as sponsors for the event.

Fundraising for Needy Students
This committee volunteers its time so that Cass Tech students who need financial assistance to obtain clothing, equipment, supplies for transportation, etc. get whatever they need.

Alumni Newsletter (GreenScene)
This committee serves to write, edit, take photographs and otherwise help to put out our quarterly newsletter.

All Years Picnic
This picnic is held as part of Reunion Weekend and is held the first weekend in August at Belle Isle. The committee's duty would be to help plan the event.

PROACT
This is the committee whose aim it is to make sure that the old Cass Tech building is put to its best use.

Ford Field/Comerica Park Concessions
This committee will work alongside our Executive Director to ensure that there are enough volunteers and manpower available to handle our concession stands at Ford Field and Comerica Park. Since 2004, CTAA has had a concession stand at Ford Field where we sell food and beverages during Lions games in an effort to raise money for Cass Tech student groups as well as for the alumni association.
